BC Rytas Vilnius defeated Kaunas Zalgiris 89:85 at home on Sunday, ending their winning streak in the LKL league. The hero of the match was M. Foster, who scored 34 points, grabbed 5 rebounds, and provided 1 assist in just 33 minutes of play. With just over two and a half minutes left, Foster tied the game with free throws (79:79) and then scored 4 consecutive points to put Rytas ahead (84:79).

Zalgiris player K. Evans made one of two free throws, but Foster hit a three-pointer that dashed Zalgiris's hopes (87:82). Although K. Lukosiunas hit a three-pointer with 2 seconds left, Gytis Masiulis sealed the victory for Rytas with free throws.
